27 1st Edition Base Packs

Very odd to have consecutive days with 1st base pack deals.
Here’s today’s.

Here’s the story. I have in 1st Ed base packs:
18 packs that weigh 20.30-20.40
9 packs that weigh 20.70-20.80

These were all from the same box I’m convinced, with the remaining 9 packs unknown.
What does this tell you? How would you sell them?

Two different scales were used and rendered same weights.
Yes, I’m aware of the lighter than usual weights. Any opinions on this?

Sell the lowest 20.7 to someone who plans to open and see if they get a holo. If they do sell the other 20.7+ as heavy packs.

Sounds fun to me.

But I would start with one heavy. If the centering is good, might be worth it to do all. Get some more fresh pikas and starters!

If I was in your position of wealth and popularity, I’d auction some off for charity or something.

If I wasn’t in your position, I’d keep them sealed lol

IMO, to get the highest value out of these packs, you need to arranged some sort of hyped up livestreamed opening. People will pay a premium for stuff like that. The lightest packs are probably best kept sealed IMO as display pieces. For the “medium” weight packs, you could sell them as heavy and then do a partial refund to the buyer if it ends up being light.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but what are you storing the packs in? Is it just a team bag?

Open one of the “heavy” packs yourself and see what you get. Plan accordingly from there.
After the resealed box yesterday you can probably get a premium on sealed product just for being Gary lol.

That is a good point. Bet you can get a serious premium. Trusted seller with legit packs. Definitely a home run
