I feel like most of the mons peak in ugliness around Sun & Moon or Sword & Shield but Charizard has had a brutal Scarlet & Violet so far.

Agreed. Kind of makes me realise that modern cards are overdesigned. Charizard still had awesome cards all the way through mid-era, but the modern cards feel busy.

Charizard mega X might be the coolest looking pokemon ever imo
But he doesnt have the cards to back that up sadly

Looking at my personal collection, the reverse holo from LC stands out like a sore thumb. Arguably the most beautiful but you need to see it in person

Charizard probably has the greatest cards of any pokemon
Its hard to believe that base set zard wont win
1st edition will always be the most iconic card in all of pokemon history. 30 years from now ppl will still be talking about this card

Dark charizard was always one of my favorites but putting it next to others it doesnt not stand out

Blaines charizard is so in your face, so much dominance for sure one of my favorites

Love love love gold star. With the right lighting it looks like the light from that flame is being reflected off his wing and its amazing

Shinning charizard is one of the coolest to show off, people are always impressed. The contrast of the tail flame with the dark body is awesome
Of course blue eyed e-reader zard is cool but i cant help but feel they gave him the “cutesy dragonite” treatment and thats simply not how i see charizard
