Apart from some non-TCG sets, like the PokéTrivia and those thick golden plastic cards you’ve mentioned, there are also Burger King TCG cards from the DP era (released in both 2008 and 2009), although they don’t mention this anywhere on the card themselves. They were Reverse Holos with stamps of the set name on them. Here example pictures of the Pikachu cards:
These same Burger King sets were also released in Spanish, where the second Burger King set was even exclusively released in Argentina.
As for some non-fastfood released cards still related to food that come to mind:
The Teach/Tryout Set of July 18, 2011 were given to kids from the primary school or younger at Denny’s restaurants.
And Indonesian Indomaret-stamped promo cards, which is the most widespread supermarket in Indonesia. Here an example of the Mimikyu this time:
