Looking for whose signature this is

I got some cards signed when I was younger and dont remember who exactly signed this one. I have not had any luck searching and hoped someone here would have information.

Someone from the Pokemon Card Laboratory. Hope others can narrow down the name.

The katakana reads “Torii”. Unfortunately I don’t know who that is, but hopefully someone else has some insight.

Yukinori Torii, I’m guessing

I too would guess Yukinori Torii given the katakana, but I’ve never seen his Japanese signature. He is an employee of the Pokémon Card Laboratory (PCL) in Japan.
