Time Magazine Pokemon cover

Pretty good press for the hobby!

Saw the Pikachu cover at Whole Foods,

someone posted a picture of all four on reddit:

Charmander always looks goofy to me in that art.

Does anyone have a copy of the magazine? I did an interview for this awhile back and curious if it was published.

I wondered what happened to that interview. I am trying to source the internet for a PDF Digital version.

Same! The interviewer told me it would be physical only so I’m trying to see what store sells magazines. I haven’t bought a magazine in person in like 20 years!

Hey that’s you! I haven’t read any of it, just flipped through and saw your name. Could be more. I found the Bulbasaur and Charmander at Walgreens.

Time to go buy the entire set at the grocery store @smpratte I read that you are unlikely to find all of them at the same time at once place. Apparently grocery stores got pairs. Shouldnt be too hard to find,

How long have magazines been $15?! lol

That’s $15?! lol probably because they are advertising that it is a special edition

Barnes and Noble usually has magazines I believe.

I’m sure it’s a completely accurate, well researched, and unbiased look at the history of Pokemon in the United States. There’s absolutely no reason to expect anything less from such a prestigious publication.

Ok thanks! I’ll update when I find a copy! :sunglasses:

I find it a little amusing that they refer to Whatnot as “the edgier” side of the hobby. Cool magazine, I’ll definitely pick it up if I see one.

Only worth it if i can get it signed by @smpratte first while cgc authenticates.
