UK Collectors - Where do you buy Card Savers from?

I’m having trouble finding card savers or there equivalents in the UK. I mainly want them for booster packs so i’m looking for the resealable bags for them too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT:

Further edit

Important NOTE:After some more feedback from @justmatt on the BCW #SR2 It seems cards in regular pennysleeves will struggle to fit inside these card savers. However going sleeveless or using a perfect fit sleeve is an option (The picture above is using a KMC perfect fit Sleeve).

Alternatively,
Others have suggested a new company called Gradefit might be worth taking a look at as an alternative, If anyone has bought from them feel free to leave a review here.

TL;DR
The BCW #SR2 are a little snug and are best used with perfect fits or no sleeves at all (looks like there out of stock too now anyway).
Gradefit.co.uk was reccomended by a few people in this thread however no reviews posted as of yet.

Would also like to know this

There are not distributed in Europe, only option is shipping them from the US.

Damn, hopefully someone will start stocking them over here soon!

Just out of interest - are they really much better than toploaders? Not trying to highjack the thread BTW!

Theirs a lot of advantages with card savers but if you can’t get them a top loader in a team bag will do.

Cards shift around the toploader more. Also if submit directly to PSA they require/recommend cards are sent in them.

Card Savers aren’t easy to get in Europe. But… Ultra Pro does sell all it’s product in Europe, your local store or webshop can order them for you.
www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=633 are still smaller than Card Saver II’s but work finewww.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=635 is what I use, smaller than the other semi rigids form Ultra Pro but easier to get hands on

Fair enough, even if the cards are in sleeves in toploaders then can still move around and ding?

If you only use penny sleeves, they can move around, but that doesn´t ding them if you handle them carefully. It´s more a problem with shipping though, card savers will hold the card very tightly, preventing it from falling out. When shipping in toploaders you will have to somehow cover the lid to prevent the cards from falling out - depending on what method you use it either may damage the card or is not as easy to unwrap.

I just wanted to chime in to say that I’m in the UK and use these myself. I pay around £20 for a box of 200 every so often when they appear on Amazon (I couldn’t find any available there at the moment). They’re certainly not cheap though, I only use them for storage purposes. When I sell I use top loaders instead.

I wouldn’t mind paying that price if i could find them available, 200 would be more than enough for my needs! Looks like there pretty out of stock everywhere at the moment though.

I’ve found that they tend to get restocked every few months. This is the usual listing if you want to keep checking it once every few weeks: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000ETKYYO.

I see my regular webshop having them out of stock as well. Maybe contact Ultra Pro www.ultrapro.com/contact_us.php and ask them if there are supply issues?

Has anyone ever used BCW semi rigids as an alternative? I have found some for sale in the UK and am going to give them a try. Should be fine for storing cards but i want them for storing booster packs and they might be a little small, will have to wait and see when they arrive. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Here is the link in case anyone wants to check them out www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Semi-Rigid-Card-Holder-3-x-4-5-inches-50-pack/233615574965?hash=item366492c7b5:g:~TAAAOSw-1JdMZmf

They arrived! They seem to be good enough for card submissions and a card fits nicely inside.
NOTE: This version is #SR2 which is slightly smaller than a Card Saver 1

For this reason its a little too small to cover the whole of a booster pack which is what i originally wanted them for.
Here is a picture of a card inside one of them for all of you that are thinking about getting some for grading submissions

If meant to put inside, don’t use card savers for packs. They damage packs.
