Hi Tony. I mentioned it in another post, but forgot to tag you / reply the same here:

Just got word from my contact regarding something else. Russian sets have been released from XY through BreakThrough, as well as some loose promos / blisters / these McDonald’s cards. But from now on all sets will be in English again he told me. (I did hear from someone else that Russian will release Sun & Moon Decks, but my Russian contact said they won’t - all will be English from now on. So I’ve removed them from my list, but if anyone does see Russian Sun & Moon cards certainly let me know.)

My Russian contact now gets English releases in his local shop, so I think there won’t be any more Russian cards anytime soon.
Not sure where the Russian Sun & Moon rumors came from - maybe Russian cards will still be distributed in some regions? (Note that my contact lives in Moscow.)

But for now I’ve removed all Russian Sun & Moon cards from my checklists. If anyone has prove there are any Russian Sun & Moon cards I’d love to know.

That’s a shame that it never took off. But at least us collectors had a taste of the Russian cars for a short while! Thanks for the info!
