Went to a collector’s fair today and picked up a small assortment of cards. Generally, I only look through the cheaper cards at these sorts of events as the more expensive cards are often slightly overpriced.
I got there at opening and to my surprise found a handful of shadowless base set cards in one seller’s cheap stack. All mint apart from Diglett and Sandshrew.
From the same seller I also picked up from Base Set 2 cards that I was missing. According to recent E4 surveys, Base Set 2 is everyone favourite set.
From another seller I picked up some cheap 1st Editions that I was missing plus a random Clefairy for good measure.
Then from another seller I broke my own rule and bought some slightly more expensive cards. I couldn’t go past these reverse-holo Legendary Collection cards. They are beautiful and mint condition apart from the Slowpoke. I am super happy to have the Exeggutor as this is one of my favourite artworks in the TCG.
And finally just for fun a bought a resin drink coaster for my desk. Chikorita isn’t my favourite Pokémon but I wanted a vintage card and they only had a couple of those. I think it’s cute.
