I voted all gens since i don’t have any that kind of barriers, if it’s a cool card and fits in my goals i may purchase it regardless of what pokemon and from which gen it is

I collect most special arts that come out, which pretty much encompasses all generations! I’m definitely partial to gen 1-3, but there are certainly some great cards beyond that as well!

I’m always open to great art regardless of the generation, but I have to say that gen7-9 pokemon just don’t encounter my taste.

I’m mostly enthusiastic towards gen1-4, but there’s a decent probability that I would pick up some gen5-6 pokemon in the future.

I mostly focus on gen 1 (Pikachu) and gen 3 (Seviper), but I’ve voted for all gens as well, since I collect all FA AR cards that feature people in them alongside my FA Supporter collection, which includes Pokémon from all generations.

Gens 1-3 simply because they’re the generations I’m familiar with.

My only exposure to Pokemon created post gen 3 is through the cards & it seems TPC is content with making species from these generations & trainer cards (which I couldn’t care less about) the chase of modern sets.

I do think my pallet would expand if they would feature new(er) Pokemon as alt arts/SARs but they seem to be relegated to bulk cannon fodder which makes it difficult to get excited about them.

Cant really remember the last time I bought a BW era card that wasnt a species collection thing. Same with sun and moon. Rest of the eras I dabble in

Artwork comes first for me. I have a very similar appreciation for the Tapu Koko ex SAR as I do for the Alakazam ex SAR, despite having much more time to grow an attachment to the ladder.

Just the Aloha I don’t collect. IDK why, I just didn’t like the video game and anime. so just stopped around there.

Also gen-ambivalent.

Voted Gen 1-3, but also individual cards depicting Pokemon from later generations, where the art is just too damn good not to!

Like many others I identify as a cross-gen. Since my species collection is height based it grows with each generation. I( In number not height ) also enjoy lots of good card art in the new gen Pokemon even if I can’t always pronounce their names :joy:

haha. Right?

Tho, how many others here only know how to pronounce names because they heard them on the show or PkMn stadium?
