Hello fellas,

I found a big part of my collection from old days and I want to hear your opinion/criticism about it(:
I tried to find out what it’s worth, but that’s not as simple as I thought, so what do u guys think about the collection’s worth?
The small black dots on some cards are easily removable dirt, but until now I had no time to clean up the cards…
The best cards of the collection are lost, but maybe I can find em, so stay tuned.

Yea we’re not valuing your 20 pages of hundreds of cards. Start with what you think are the rarest and compared to sold listings of the same card on ebay, keeping in mind condition. Overall though, not gonna be worth much in their condition, especially since theyre mostly german not english. If you want to sell, I’d just list all the cards in a single auction.

Mostly bulk. Although you do have some cards that are quite valuable in good condition (i.e., the Espeon/Umbreon/Kingdra on the first page). But you have two things going against you: language and condition. The cards on the first page look to be in very poor condition. And the fact that they’re German makes them worth less and more difficult to sell.

Most of the cards are also foreign so they’re not as desirable as the English version. Your holos are very very played, but you still probably have hundreds of dollars.

It will be your job to go check sold listings on places like eBay so you can do an average on what they’re all worth.

I’ve learned 2 things from this thread:

1 - I like the German names of some pokemon (Rattfratz, Pummeluff & Snobikat), but the best is Mareep = Voltilamm.

2 - This forum apparently has no limits on photos.

Unfortunately, your best way is to just search ebay sold listings. You can cut down the time by grouping by rarity (common/uncommon/rare) and then the set (Jungle/Fossil). So a common Jungle card is €0.50, uncommon €1, as a start.

Absolutely hundreds of dollars. I’d happily buy this collection for $100 to piece it out. Definitely at least $200-$300 in there.

EDIT: for instance, a good amount of English Gym sets. He has plenty of cards (i.e., Misty’s Tears) that are a solid $5 a piece, if they’re not in absolutely terrible shape (which they may be, to be fair lol).

If it was all English, I’d say $200ish. With the different languages, I’d say about half that if you auctioned on eBay.

What compelled you to take 1000 pictures of energies for us to scroll past, while our potentially (definitely mine) shitty internet barely handles the immense bandwidth required to do so, I’m sure we all will never know.

most of the stuff is worth nothing because of the poor condition, but the Holos and especially the german Neo Destiny Holos are kinda rare and can make you some bucks
