1st Edition Chinese Base Set Blastoise

Hi E4, would anyone have any idea what the current market value of a raw, NM condition of the subject card is?

I can only locate the sold price of a single transaction in EBay Sold history, and it was a PSA 9 graded version.

Many thanks and appreciated if anyone has any clues to share

Got a very clear front a back of the card?

hi Gary!

there’s one photo each of front and back at this link:

I have interest but have no idea what is the market value for such a card lol. Some of the data I found is a bit dated or related to PSA graded copies.

Trying to determine the market value of this card is tough as it appears infrequently and Chinese base is fairly niche. It could fluctuate a fair amount, for example a couple of raw copies of the Chinese 1st edition Alakazam sold in November in similar condition, one sold for just over $100 the other for just over $200.

Blastoise is obviously the more popular Pokémon therefore you would expect it to sell for more. I would say you’re talking upwards of $200 but how much so depends on if a couple of keen Blastoise or Chinese collectors are bidding on it.

So much depends on its actual condition. Values are up and demand is getting greater so the numbers below are out of date. Let’s say it’s ungraded PSA 8 quality. Maybe 200.00 would be my max. If 7, then 120.00.
Something like that. Hope this helps a little.
