Nice article!
Do you think we would ever see a base 2 article?

I think you and I are the only people that care about that set lol

Base 2 was omitted since it wouldn’t be enough for its own article. There should be other sets & content that follow after finishing off the wotc era!

Me too:)

Never seen someone so heavily entrenched in base 2, you would have a very personal and financial desire for that article to come up

Maybe someday base 2 will gain some more appreciation.

Great article! Blaine’s Moltres is an incredibly hard 10 grade. Good luck to anyone who tries that out for themselves :stuck_out_tongue:

Gym heroes and Gym challenge are my two favourite sets. Love the artwork and certainly the most nostalgic for me even more so than base,Jungle and Fossil.

I do like these articles, but they seem very repetitive and overly structured. I feel like if you have read one of them, you can pretty much guess exactly how the rest are going to be written. Nonetheless, a good read.

Nice article! I always thought the Gym sets were underrated and underpriced… beautiful artwork, unique style, nostalgic gym leaders, and a lower print run than Jungle/Fossil/Rocket. Plus Challenge has a very nice Charizard.

Very undervalued set. I was able to get a Mint 9 1st edition Lt Surge’s Magneton for just $26 a couple months ago.

Agree. I love the gym series. In term of art, prob my second favourite aftrer neo discovery…

Cmon Glew. A little more personality please;)

Thanks for the high quality scans of the article, really appreciate it. I bought the first issue over the summer with Charizard on the cover but haven’t gotten around to the others yet.

It is exciting seeing Pokemon discussed and highlighted in a professional manner through a magazine. Feels like all of this kind of came full circle, starting off with the unofficial magazines like Beckett and Pojo back in the beginning, now onto the future with PSA and these publications.
