Who all is planning to go? Besides playing the TCG, what all goes on?
Heard this year at worlds, a group of 6 guys all crammed into a room to look at each other’s binders
Sad to say I missed out on that, but hopefully will be at the next “card looking” orgy next year.

I am 100% planning to attend but life is getting busier every year and we will see if it allows me to take the time to travel or not. Money is already earmarked and it is already jotted down on the calendar, but just need to hope nothing big interferes with it. The past two years my wedding/honeymoon and first anniversary fell too near and trumped Pokemon (obviously) but the wife has already agreed we can tie together a week long 2nd anniversary trip/Pokemon Worlds trip if possible!

I’ve never attended an event like this, but have obvious interest in doing so. What are the costs (roughly) with attending? I only live one state over (NC), but im assuming theres a cost for attending the actual event, hotel, transportation, etc. Anyone have a rough ballpark estimate of this sort of trip?
I want to go. I need to know the dates by February though (So I can book my vacation time)
I am also in NC, Winston-Salem area. I haven’t gone, but looking at flights from here to TN round trip it’s only like $250 which is probably cheaper for me than gas considering I get 13 MPG and it is a 1400 miles round trip.
Following (2018’s Worlds will be the first that I attend since it is in Nashville which is in my neck of the woods.)

Planning on going! Hoping to meet a bunch of awesome peeps I’ve only conversed with through screens, as well as look at some cards and watch the event’s live stream. Oh, and maybe make a trade or two

I definitely want to try and go. I won’t be competing because I suck at the tcg (a man can try!) But hopefully I will complete in side events and buy some cool cards.

50/50 at the moment…but its looking more likely. Anyone know if you need passes or how to get them?

Passes are available for purchase online a couple months before the actual event!
Usually someone here notices them on one of the Pokemon sites and posts it here.
