Ok. So has anyone on here ever seen or actually pulled a no rarity card from one of these packs? I can’t find any evidence that any long packs, or even short packs have yielded these. Only the booster decks.

Yes I did read that, and agree it does seem likely. It just seems crazy with all of the old long packs for sale, that someone hasn’t recorded, posted or mentioned pulling one. In the last several years even.
The thread explains that most likely no rarity came on decks and short packs which are extremely hard to find today. Because they were produced after it is very unlikely any Long packs contain no rarity cards.

Yes no rarity came from the earliest versions of the short booster packs (0% chance from long packs) and the starter decks. Not confirmed but it is a good bet that only product released in 1996 so from October to December would yield no rarity since the 1996 gift set released on the 12th of December there is both instances of no rarity and normal cards being pulled. We don’t know how long the gift set was released for but it was a very limited time.
Also when I say 1996 I mean literally 1996, the vast majority of Japanese Base set packs/product etc. is from 1997 onwards. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell if something is from 1996 unless you find other evidence not related to the actual packaging like a literal dated time capsule or with a Japanese store sticker that went out of business in Dec 1996 lol.

It seems the general consensus is that they “could” but that’s why I posted. I wasn’t sure if someone had heads of anyone in fact pulling a no rarity from a long pack
