Florida man strikes again.
In Miami, Florida, a man attempted to run off from a card store called Pro Play Games carrying two large binders full of extremely valuable Pokémon cards. He probably would have gotten away with it, if it weren’t for two MMA fighters who happened to be driving by at the time.
Team rocket stopped by two fighting specialty pokemon trainers
2 binders of modern hits worth 40k that’s crazy. I don’t keep up with prices of modern cards but dang that’s quite high 2 binders.
I think this is a classic case of exaggeritis. Probably worth a good amount but no way is 40k a realistic estimate.
I wonder if the woman was referring to all of the binders that we see laid on the table instead of just the 2 that were almost stolen.
In my experience, estimates treat every card like a PSA 10 when assigning value. At least the holos. We’ve all seen the clickbait articles about how “your childhood cards could be worth thousands” and they all do this. They take the PSA 10 price and that’s your value.
why is this so funny.
