A 2005 Pokemon Deal For All To See - Share Some Of Your Ones

These were tough years for Pokemon overall but great years for collectors like me. Just about weekly a big deal for a great price came down the pike.

This deal was after I closed my store in Ohio and moved back to Las Vegas. I had MANY contact and regular customers and I was constantly buying. I had great jobs in the gaming and resort businesses so I was able to buy a lot with my thoughts on their being my retirement cause I was convinced prices would rise again. During those years I was in the minority which is why I got great prices. Everybody thought they’d go the way of Beanies.

I was going through old emails and I have many that concerned buys I was making. The below is a screen shot of one such email/deal. I guarantee you I have many of those cards still tucked away in storage. I’d like to see some of the other old timers deals here too:)

Yes lol. They were all perfectly mint but with the normal fuzzy corners.

I don’t have a copy of the purchase but I remember buying a base set unlimited booster box for £400 back in 2014/15 when I first got back into collecting, not as impressive but it still shows how much prices have risen in the past few years!

As I think Scott has informed us all, there were many more of all Pokémon cards made than we realize;)

Over the years I’ve graded a couple dozen (all 8s and 9s) but not sure how many were from that lot.

I do have a picture of an UNBELIEVABLE shadowless lot. I wont share it publicly and whoever sees it can’t copy it and share the pic with anybody.

1st person to message me can see the picture and must use adjectives in a post here about the shadowless picture lot. But you can’t say anything specific or anything about the quantity you see.

First Off, I’ve purchased THOUSANDS of Shadowless Cards off Gary; so I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I honestly thought I had come close to clearing-out his inventory. I Know, silly me for being so naive…

That Picture, WOW!!! I’m Speechless… Absolutely JAW-DROPPING! It took me a minute before I realized the magnitude of what I was actually viewing! I honestly had to do a double-take before I was able to fully-grasp everything shown within that one picture!

I’ve always LOVED the Shadowless Base Set - even more-so than 1st Ed. Base Set. However, that one picture just brought my love of the Shadowless Base Set to a whole new level!
I’ll try and keep this P.G. - let’s just say I won’t be needing my girlfriend anymore tonight :heart_eyes: LOL

Now the real question Gary… How much to spend an hour alone with that collection?
