So I managed to pick up the card quite cheap a couple days ago whilst browsing eBay(.co.uk) before bed and if there were legitimate issues I’d just claim NAD and return the item.
It arrived this morning and unfortunately there is a very large scratch on the front of the case, (it’s not thick/deep just a long surface scratch) and the condition of the card is certainly sub 10, perhaps even an 8, whilst also looking like it is not properly encapsulated. It looks to be somewhat warped inside the case but I’m not entirely sure.
I’m just not sure what to do as the price was fantastic but of course too good to be true. In the ad the seller stated nothing about any scratches/damage, including only a couple of basic images, but at the same time I’m not sure whether I should just return it.
I feel like some of the whitening on the edges looks like extra card rather than damage because it’s pretty consistent. And remember non holos can usually get away with a bit more because the front is probably perfect (don’t have to worry about holo scratches). I think it’s a fine 10 but that’s just from those photos. It might be worse when looking at it from different angles. And almost every PSA card I’ve ever bought has had case scratches, they can come from PSA like that so it’s not really the sellers fault. Plastx can help with that as Speeze said.
