Sorry if this is a dumb question. But what are some affordable trophy cards? 6k and under?
Even willing to go down to a psa 7.
Trophy cards are typically out of reach for me but I wanted to see if it was possible to maybe own one. Just putting a feeler to see what is out there.
On that note I am am completely inexperienced in everything when it comes to trophy cards. So any help is appreciated E4!
If you also include Award/Prize/Participation cards in your terminology Trophy, then I’d suggest the Kamex R and Mysterious Pearl to get you going
Here’s a good starting point:
Trophy cards is a loose term. Here are a couple that come to mind that could be in reach:
Mysterious Pearl
Low grade Tropical Wind
Victory orb
Victory ring
Low grade uni karp
Then there are some nice prize cards / promos
Flareon jolteon vaporeon play
Mew ex play
Grand party

Japanese Championship Arenas. In 9 grade they are quite low currently imo
A good starting point could also be the Victory Medal/Battle Road promos.
Depending on what you consider a trophy card.
There’s also the fairly new Asia Championship trophies from Taiwan. That’s been selling around your price range. Their japanese counterparts are around $20k+ so pretty solid alternative.
Ooh! It has dialga and palkia! And it’s in Japanese! Interesting, plus it’s in a 9

This one is on my bucket list, but it’s more for completion’s sake because I’m not particularly fond of the card. 
I would definitely suggest the mysterious Pearl , I think the psa 9 is 3.5-4k ( from what I found on 130point )
There’s under 150 total graded across from BGS, PSA , and CGC from what I have tried too research so they are rare even if most think there’s 500-1k copies of them in existence and I think that number may drop as time goes by as we really can’t find an accurate number of these pearls given out and some may have been lost too time so who knows
Seeing it in person with its holo effect on the medallion , border and the gold “ this is an official Pokémon prize “ or something close too that just takes the cake for me hence I wanted mine for a while and I am really appreciating it more and more.

Just wanna second the Grand Party suggestion. Whatever it lacks in trophy status is made up for with insane cool factor and just general bling, always been a special card.
