Wanted everyone’s opinion on the upgraded alakazam. The color variation is crazy was curious if we think this is some kind or error or sun fading?
Thanks any help is appreciated just trying to figure out what’s up with this card.

The color is very consistent throughout the card and the back is completely normal
I saw a similar error looking card in a MTG video and their explanation for the colour change was the printer was low on that colour’s ink.
Who knows though.

Do you know if the black ink is also affected by sun fading? Black ink looks normal
yep it is, just from the picture provided, it looks like the entire front is faded
Dont some people intentionally sun fade some cards?.. either way, it looks cool! Maybe scanning the card might be able to provide more detail, but I am not sure if that will affect the way we see the card.
Different colour inks fade at different rates.
