These past few days have been weird, but soon enough, I’ll at least be able to fill the void left by not being able to play basketball, hang out with Uni/home friends, or go to other public events by being able to play the newly released Animal Crossing game. Friday can’t get here soon enough
@madden12ut Ive heard such great things about this game that I might actually have to buy a copy myself! Never got into animal crossing before, but with everything going on I might as well give it a go!
But im really getting into Mystery Dungeon too, so at least I have some things to do
Yesss can’t wait.
Yep, very excited. Looking forward to shaking some trees, catching some fish and laying down some outdoor furniture.
@dizzle24 It’s such a great game to just relax and do a bunch of random things. The game has a way of making almost every little thing you do fulfilling. Definitely give it a go if you can after you finish up PMD
Just picked my copy! Started my game, but really going to dig into it this evening. Looks beautiful!!!
@madden12ut, I’ve played almost every animal crossing game minus one, and I cannot wait to get this game soon and play it! I love animal crossing haha! give an update on here on how it is
@danis04 It’s awesome! It has so much charm and it really brings me back to the gamecube days, love that I can play it on a home console once again
The graphics are truly amazing too. Nintendo wins again for me
Gonna buy the game and play it with my girlfriend tomorrow. She really doesn’t play video games much but loved the old Animal Crossing on DS. Should be a fun thing to do for us during quarantine times. I haven’t really played any since GameCube and don’t remember much. Will be a new adventure for sure.
I don’t understand the hype around this game, but glad people have something to look forward to.
I like casual relaxing gaming and between the music, scenery, and gradual progress of AC it’s perfect for me. Also nostalgic, I remember pretending to be sick so I could stay home in elementary school to play the original AC.
My grandfather bought me my first Animal Crossing game (Wild World for DS) years back, and I absolutely loved it, and I now strongly associate the series with him, so I’m super looking forward to playing my second game in the series having had no time to actually play New Leaf…but I can’t afford it anything right now so I guess I’m waiting longer lol
Roommate just downloaded his copy and it looks great. It has seriously made me consider buying a Switch, although I do need to save money due to being out of work… Thanks COVID.
Years ago I bought the first version for my sons.
Last week my oldest son bought this one for me.
We share the isle. So much fun, fishing, shaking.
And on Sunday, turnip time.
@madden12ut,that sounds amazing! I used to love the gamecube one and wanted so badly for them to come out with another one like it. Based on what you tell me we finally got that again and that makes me happy im waiting for some funds to come through and once i do that is first on my to buy list haha
I’ve really enjoyed the game so far. Nice look, relaxing, fun challenge and grind to complete tasks and catch everything.
Has anyone noticed the huge shortage of Switches though recently? My cousin wants to buy one and they are sold out of every store and prices are inflated by like $150.
This game looks amazing! Unfortunately I don’t have a Switch, so I’ve been playing AC for GameCube to compensate lol. For anyone who’s played all the AC games, how would you rank them?
