Any Known Existence of Poor/Played Condition Snap Cards?

Hi all,

We’ve been seeing Pokemon Snap cards rise drastically in price these past couple of years and I figured I’d ask a question that maybe some other members might appreciate:

Does anyone know if there are poor or played condition cards in existence?

I only see mentions of cards in decent shape that range from PSA 7 to PSA 10 condition, but if there are cards out there in poor condition, there might be people who might appreciate that knowledge and hope to strike a deal (like myself) at some point in time.

The Snap Pika at the Tokyo DX Pokemon Centre is pretty beat up with multiple bends here and there.

There’s a poor condition charmander running around. Some of the poliwags show some damage.

Actually before the pokonno back door specials, the snap cards were typically not mint. But most-all of them are now absorbed into collections.

Hmm. Any idea on how these cards typically range in price for played versions?

Did anyone get nice, high resolution pictures of this one? The only one I recall seeing high resolution pictures of is that mint condition one that one Pikachu collector owns (their name eludes me…)

The only recent example sold was a Bulbasaur BGS 8 with surface grade of 7 so that might be a PSA 5/6/7 not exactly ‘played’. The Charmander as discussed above is the only played snap that has surfaced but a lot seem have corner dings etc bringing them around the 7 to 8 mark even the Pkonno copies only one has scored a PSA 10 and from what I have heard it was overgraded. The BGS Bulbasaur is owned by a member here and the original seller was looking for over 15k.

No high resolution pics but here are two from my phone camera when I was there in July.

Any idea on the lowest accepted price for a Snap card has been and what condition it was in? I’m honestly surprised there hasn’t been a list created about all of the current owners, though I would understand if private sales have made that almost impossible to write up.

Poliwags were going for around $2k when the winner sold all his. The played Charmander was around $5k.

@azulryu technically the lowest price that a snap has ever gone for was Koffing like 10 years ago people posted about it on pokegym I think it went for $650 :face_with_spiral_eyes:
