I’ve got the opportunity to buy the following cards for £450 total (yes I’m in the UK, yuck I know) but this will be my biggest buy since committing to the hobby fully. I’ve loved these cards and been aware of them since they came out so my question is - are they worth the price?
The cards in question are these:
A PSA 10 Stamp Box Pikachu Promo (£300)
2 of these 3 Felt Hat Pikachus (£75 each)
If you’re willing to spend the money on them, then they’re worth it. If you’re wondering if that’s the best price available to you then you can use 130 point dot com to search recent sale prices across auction sites.
If these cards align with your current collection goals and you’re satisfied with the price, then yeah go for it. Since it’s your biggest purchase so far, I’d probably take a moment longer to consider whether there’s anything else you’d prefer to have in your collection before these cards.

Like others have said it depends on if they are a collection goal or meant to be used as an investment. The former is far easier: if you like them and they’re around recent solds then sure.
That’s a great point to consider I appreciate your advice. My main focuses right now are Base Set for a binder and any Turtwig cards, but the rarer Turtwig cards aren’t in the same price range and I’ve almost completed my Base Set binder. These Pikachu promos are ones I’ve been dying to own since they’ve released so I’m gonna get them!
Yeah I’d say they’re absolutely a collection goal for me, my mum is an artist I really connect with these cards 
investment for me is always second to how much I like the cards - if they’re valuable then great it adds an extra dimension to the card, if not then hey who cares it’s special to me!
