Base Set Booster Box Seal Opening

As I was looking at my collection tonight, I noticed something on my booster box I’ve never seen before. It appears the seal on one side of the box has come loose and looks to be torn. Very curious if anyone else has seen similar things. I’m assuming this is just due to old age? I’m worried the tear could get get larger—

I’ve had genuine boxes with similar seal issues before.

Not during my ownership, handle it with care!

Same as @acebren. I’ve had them like that and didn’t notice them getting worse.
