I don’t have the slightest clue as to how she balances on three legs, her left ear always slightly folds down or how the subtle splash of purple got in her eyes.
I just know she’s my Jolteon and will be cherished in my collection forever.
But seriously, I’ve very glad you enjoyed the Jolteon (and also the unboxing experience)! If the pokemon’s shape allows and the size of the piece is big enough, I typically try to give the pokemon some sort of interesting pose, to breathe a little more life into the piece Always happy to see things go to members of this community.
This is very lovely! Thanks for sharing @Mr.Garrison. @bbobrob that Jolteon is super impressive! My hands cramp up when crocheting smaller things with a normal sized hook and yarn. I can’t imagine making something at that scale with thread. You’ve got some amazing craftsmanship.
Thank you for the kind words! I haven’t crocheted anything with weight 4 yarn in a while, but I do remember how much easier/smoother it felt and how much less stressful it was to sew parts together. It’s definitely something I plan on returning to sometime in the future
I have a mad respect for such talent, can’t even imagine what patient and special skills doing these kinds of pieces require. And on top of it all being willing to share the joy and sending these to other people while also taking extra effort creating the displays for them is just incredible dedication, E4 sure is lucky to have individuals like bbobrob doing these kinds of things!
