BGS regraded with PSA

Hi guys,
I am wondering firstly if it is worth regrading BGS cards that I own to PSA. Most of the cards that I own are PSA and I have some 9 and 9.5 BGS cards that I think could come back as a 10 in PSA.

Does anyone have experience with this, is it realistic?
Is it worth it?

I hear it’s very hard to cross BGS 9.5s to PSA 10 just due to “rivalry” or whatever you’d like to call it between the two companies

Don’t believe everything you hear

It depends on the subgrades. And the grader. And if you are trying to cross English back cards with anything other than miniscule amounts of whitening on the back or 9.5 and under on the corners especially, don’t bother.

Edit–this is also assuming a crack and submit.

If you plan on selling and the cards have high subgrades then it could be worth a shot. It’s definitely a gamble considering the transit time and potential PSA 9.

My personal collection-- not that anyone asked-- is a mix of CGC, PSA, and BGS. I lean on leaving the cards as is.

Two that I am particularly interested in.

Japan new back (2005) 9.5 for edges, 9.5 surface 10 corners, 8.5 cantering. Front centring is completely fine rear is not good.

English card (2005) 9.5 edges, 9.5 surface, 9.5 centring, 9 edges.
