How do you set up your binder collections? By set or all the same art cards together?

I do mine by set. Regular set, then reverse holo set.

Same but reverses on the back side of the corresponding regular versions.

I have mine organized by national Dex number, subtracting any ultra rares (ex, GX, etc). The ultra rares are in their own binder, organized by type and HP within that.

I have 1.5 binders for my Pikachus; the other 0.5 binder for my Sevipers, Mimikyus, Moltres WotC #21 cards, Full Art Supporters, and Yu-Gi-Oh rarity collection; 1 binder for my Pikachu Jumbos; 1 binder for my PSA-graded, sealed (mostly Moltres), and very rare cards in toploaders; 1 binder for my regular Jumbo cards; and 9 binders for my regular collection (although I will soon split my National Index collection and regular collection, after I’ve received the last few cards to finish it). All my binders are regular A4 binders with loose sheets, so I can add/remove/move sheets if necessary.

The Pikachus and other collections are sorted according to my collection checklists (see my signature). My regular and National Index collections are sorted by Pokémon National Index, and individually by set - with Trainers, Energies, and Advert cards at the end.

I have various binders and all of them have a different order:

  • ex series binder: first there are ex cards in order of oldest to newest. Then there are the sets from oldest to newest and the sets itself have been ordered with set numbers. There are empty spots for cards that I’m still missing.
  • Japanese Sun & Moon series binder: sets from newest to oldest and ordered with set numbers. I do this as it’s just easier for me to add the new set on top.
  • Favorite Pokemon binder: certain Pokemon species all together, but cards are ordered from oldest to newest. For example first there are Salamences from oldest to newest, Rayquazas from oldest to newest, etc.
  • PokeDex binder: As the title suggest, there’s one card of each Pokemon in PokeDex order.
  • Portuguese binder: This is a rather random binder but ultra rares first, then WOTC cards in PokeDex order and then newer cards in set order.
  • Japanese holo / Promo binder: Lazy binder, no order whatsoever
  • Random cards binder - cards with art that I like and all other holos and reverse holos that I own, but what doesn’t fit into any of the binders above. English cards only. They have been ordered by type only. I kinda want to reorder that binder some day but it’s HUGE
  • Ultra rare binder starting from Rainbow Rares & Secret Rares, then FAs, etc

i just do it by set as a side goal next to psa collecting.
