I’m also looking for a solid grey card from around 2005, an old blank Yellow
Card, a solid black card, and a stripped card. Thanks
Does anyone know how to obtain these cards. Thanks
Dude what is it exactly that your looking for?
I think (not sure) he means blank cards. Like these:
But instead of white he’s looking for grey, yellow, black and striped cards? Personally I’ve never seen them before…
@tjnoahjonah Example pictures of what you are looking for might be useful.
PS: The picture above comes from this thread on PokéGym.
Greetz,
Quuador
i’ve got some blank A4 paper from circa 2005 if you’re interested
I can provide pictures of examples but have no idea how to post one on here
Upload to imgur then share the link.
By solid grey I assume you are referring to a blank misprint WC card from around 2005? The border isn’t the same shade so it’s not quite a “solid” grey. Also, there has only been one “solid yellow” card to appear on ebay for ~$30 from Singapore about 3 years ago… I passed on it because it didn’t seem legitemate and didn’t look much into it.
I’ve never heard of any solid black misprint and don’t quite understand why you’d want a “stripped” card (do you mean the blank holo card??). More information is needed for anyone here to have a chance at helping you.
I have a newer solid Yellow Card. The grey card your talking about from 2005 is the one I’m talking about. I’ve had the stripped card in hand and the back was white. It came with a stores inventory so I thought it was yugioh because it was with yugioh stripped cards. How do I post pictures on this post
Uploaded here for ya
The colorbar misprints were only really common with the Yugioh copies (see below) , so if you had a Pokemon version that would be pretty neat. I don’t recall ever seeing one.
I may as well take the chance to give a friendly warning that there are a few types of misprint cards that can be easily replicated/reproduced:
1. The all holo "misprint" cards or anything to do with an exposed hologram error can be easily faked by using various solvents to remove the ink. There have been quite a few purportedly "authentic" copies floating around on ebay that are indeed fake.
2. The 100% blank white front pokemon cards.
My best recommendation would be to post the ones you’re looking for in the WTB section of the forum to maybe attract a seller
I’ve seen the dark Yellow in the past Year the gray one sold for close 2 $40 a couple yrs ago.
