If you could build one set of base set in a PSA 9 which would you build?

- Unlimited Base set English

There’s no wrong answer, Jp for the holo but Eng is what we’re nostalgic for. Now if option three was shadowless, that’s whole other story!

Is there a reason you’re limiting the options to japanese base and english unlimited in psa 9? Is it a budget thing? Would PSA shadowless be an option, for example? Or a binder collection of shadowless?
I chose Japanese because I prefer cosmos holofoil and the deeper color saturation.

I collect both but Japanese looks better in my opinion

Ideal world I’d have both, but since I have to choose, English because of the nostalgia.
This depends on a lot of things but assuming i would still have the collection i currently have i chose japanese since i already have english binder set completed. I’ve been toying with idea of also doing japanese so this kinda fits the theme
I’m personally going with base2, but unlimited base set is an awesome choice!
I love JP, but if the cards are available in a language I can read, that’s what I personally prioritize.
Yeah it’s a budget thing. So in a 9 shadowless is a bit too expensive
NM Shadowless binder + JP Base Set PSA 9, best of both worlds IMO

Always English.
My vote is for Japanese and do PSA 10s over 9s. You can get PSA 10s for the same price if not cheaper than WOTC PSA 9s.
Edit to add - I was English or bust for a long time. But I think once you get bit by the Japanese bug there’s no going back. The quality of the cards is just SOOOO much better. It’s not even close.

I would go for the 10s, but the charizard is like 5k in a 10 compared to 1k in a 9 
They go for around 3K if you wait for auctions.

I would go 100 percent with Japanese. For PSA, I would mix just whatever I could get, not caring so much for for the actual grade.
