To give an idea of pull rates, I pulled all these from 6x booster boxes purchased from Japan-International-Trade, missing out on just a Shining Mew (and the Mewtwo HR):
I see both sides of this. On one side yes they should be hard to pull since they are shininig cards, but at the same time i dont want to have to buy multiple boxes for one shining card like it was in the past.
It’s different because there are probably a lot more people now who are buying these boxes and TPC are producing much more than WOTC was producing Neo Destiny. So if the pull rates are going to remain the same as they were 15 years ago then there are going to be a lot more of these shining cards than there ever were wotc shinings so the market isn’t completely flooded and are selling for $5 a piece. I’d rather the pull rates be much more difficult than that. Just my opinion though.
Obviously there is far more demand with more product being opened which is why I think they should be harder to pull. Implying i’m making this only about me and not everyone is saying I am the only person with the opinion that shinings should be more difficult to pull and have a higher rarity value. Just because I don’t share the exact same opinion and view of it as you doesn’t mean I’m making it all about me. Ignorant.
Its quite clear there is people out there that enjoy the hunt, they enjoy the challenge. AND they enjoy the dissapoitment of pulling 6 wallys and no rayquaza from xy6 Its what makes it fun. But its just an opinion, or a feeling. Nothing more. Its nothing personal either.
All the rare cards arnt really obtainable. Making things like they where back from the gold star days and BW days would give alot of collectors the chance to have some real nice rare cards for a much cheaper price. People cant be spending thousands on trophy cards, shinings, no rarites ect. THE BW ultra rares had a good sytem, and so did the gold stars. Every body loves them, and alot of people have them. Theres nothing wrong with that.
