Can A 20.76 1st Base Pack Contain A Holo?

Need opinions…

Gary I would have imagined you had data spreadsheets of every 1st ed pack you’ve ever opened with all the analytics on weights and discrepancies and therefore had answers to all such heavy pack questions :stuck_out_tongue:

If Gary can’t answer this question, how does he expect anyone else to???

Just open it dammit

Hard to tell. It’s not especially light but not especially heavy so without knowing the rest of the box pack weights would be a complete guess I think

Send it to me and I’ll open it for you

Open it for science

Check out the pack weight Google doc: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vGWdNU6icDk_gq34zBiO372XXGWbT2Hr6oBh59FS4PE/edit?usp=sharing

According to the data we have so far, it seems super unlikely. But we don’t yet have a large enough sample size to conclude anything for certain. Our data is also all on Unlimited Base, which I’m assuming (but don’t know for a fact) doesn’t differ that much from 1st Ed. in terms of weight.

Yeah…that data is a little sus. All lightest team rocket packs had Holos while the heaviest didn’t?

I opened a 20.7X heavy Unlimited pack… so YMMV. Has no one taken you up on the awesome $20K deal to open it?!

First of all, Team Rocket is notoriously difficult to weigh accurately. As one should expect, the data reflects that. Second, there’s an incredibly small sample size for Team Rocket. The more data that is gathered, the more reliable the weight/holo relationship is. Third, the data is based on volunteered self-reports. I don’t see any reason why people would lie about the weights of the packs they open. It’s possible that some data points are inaccurate, but I don’t have any reason to believe that they are.

So I don’t see it as remotely ‘sus.’ It seems like a function of the fact that Team Rocket is one of the most difficult sets to weigh accurately and the sample size being tiny.

surely someone saying sus to say suspect, should show some, how suspicious said Sayer of slur sounds. Suffice to say, a single sampling of shitty showing of speech is significantly sufficient to show several that someone shouting sus should shut up.:rofl:

it’s the first time I have ever used sus hahah. But the fact that your username is Hisoka automatically makes you sus. HxH :joy::joy:

Relax. It was a little sus joke haha. I know they are user based reports. Hence I didn’t speak anything on skyridge as well. Since even 20.xx can be light while the data had 17 as heavy. It all depends on the box and to accurately weigh anything you would need to find the average for that particular box in question. So to OP as well, no one can accurately say if it’s heavy or light unfortunately. Unless you find the seller of the pack and he opened the box himself and weighed each pack

wait I wasn’t finished. Go read it. the word is like nails on a chalkboard Haha

Yes, I agree anyone who likes hisoka is suspicious indeed

“Hisoka, you walk in front”

I find it fine. It was annoying to me at the beginning. It’s growing on me recently. I think I saw a fun meme on reddit associated with it. The word simp however makes me think nails on chalkboard. I’m 30 btw so maybe I’m too old for every new word.

I’ve had 21 gram packs that only had rares. Also had 20.5 gram packs with a holo. So I’d say you have a 50% chance of pulling a holo card.

Some words get thrown around too much and lose their significance. Maybe I find it funny and annoying since this week I’ve been hearing fam, squad, lit, sus, crib and other words.

It’s the world we live in unfortunately. I try not to get mad at everything. Bad for my own mental health lol
