Cancelled order no reason given

Just a heads up to watch out if buying from the eBay user: matthewfarrow

I made a decent offer earlier this week for his Japanese base set zard which he turned down, I decided to bid on the auction and see how it went. I won the auction for the starting price but he cancelled the sale within 10 minutes of the auction ending with out giving a reason. I feel its got a air of ‘Sour grapes’ about it that he hadn’t accepted the earlier offer and it went for much less than maybe he expected. Ebay doesnt allow me to give negative feedback but just wanted to warn any potential future buyers.

His feedback score is 100% despite having negative feedback this month. Hmm

I believe if you paid for the auction right away, you could have left a negative feedback later.

This happens a lot, many people cancel sales if it went for too low, on other hand many people who won auction never pay lol

Yeh I imagine this does happen a fair bit. It just goes against my own beliefs, I think you have to take the hit even if it hasn’t met the amount you hoped for and hopefully at some point you also get a good deal on a auction too.

100% agree, this is the risk you take doing an auction without reserve.
