Cardhouse.eu & ebirdman

Ive heard things about these sellers before, but do they actually expect their cards to sell for the ridiculous prices they want for them? What is their deal?

yes

Donā€™t bother dealing with RenazJuve/cardhouse. There are better sellers out there lol. ebirdman will negotiate on price a bit if you ask him.

Itā€™s a bit unfair to lump those two together. Iā€™ve purchased several cards off ebirdman at fair market value, and he seems like a collector as well so certain listings being high might be stuff he doesnā€™t necessarily want to get rid of.

At the end of the day you canā€™t do anything more than speculate about someoneā€™s motives, but it isnā€™t really a big deal anyways no one is forcing you to purchase cards from anyone.

Yes. Donā€™t compare the two. ebirdman lists high but will bargain down to good prices. Plus heā€™s a great packer and shipper. Finally, heā€™s dealt in Pokemon for 18 years steady on eBay with a flawless reputation.

ebirdman definitely accepts reasonable best offers, bought from him multiple times

For all Cardhouse ā€˜bashingā€™: www.elitefourum.com/t/warning-ig-user-cardhouse-eu-false-paypal-claims/14349/1

Ed (ebirdman) is a very good man and is happy to negotiate almost always. Cardhouse i have never dealt with and never will going by the rude dealings a lot of people have with this seller (and no negotiation room).

ebirdman has the sort of reputation where you know you are going to get the best service. Sure he lists his prices very high but he is always willing to work out a price with you if you donā€™t act like an idiot.

Some of their cards are probably just listed at ridiculous prices to gain attention and are intended more for marketing than to sell.
Iā€™ve never dealt with ebirdman but Iā€™ve done many successful deals with Cardhouse. Some have reported that heā€™s done some shady practices as been discussed here on the forum before. But to me heā€™s always been very friendly, ships fast and we negotiated several great deals

This ^ . Cardhouse lists a lot of very rare cards for very high prices not always looking to sell. Itā€™s a cool way to showcase those cards sometimes too. Theyā€™re probably cards he doesnā€™t really want to get rid of right away, but if he were to sell then the price listed is what he would be willing to accept lol.

I have had a very similar experience with Cardhouse. I purchased a card for a lot, but it was well priced and I was giving a tracking number. But many have had lots of problems with him - www.elitefourum.com/t/warning-ig-user-cardhouse-eu-false-paypal-claims/14349/1

Ed is great. Heā€™s willing to negotiate and will even do payment plans as long as you arent ridiculous. Cardhouse i have had zero experience with, so i cant say one way or another.

I have bought so many things from Ed xD
Just send him a message and negotiate, very simple!

Canā€™t say much about cardhouse :slightly_frowning_face:

Ebirdman provides great prices and good customerservice
Have never dealt with cardhouse, but his known to ā€œoverpriceā€ the items and ive also heard about the gold star dogsā€¦

my two cents, Ebirdman is one of my favorite sellers in the hobby, he always goes the extra mile. I have not had any problems with Cardhouse Eu either, though seems allot of others have. :slightly_frowning_face:

Bought and sold to ebird, never had a problem. Even the guys who work under ebird are friendly and top notch!

To provide an objective answer to this question, one individual does shady, unethical and illegal activity (cardhouse) one does not (ebirdman).

I donā€™t want to be serious guy or beat a dead horse with cardhouseEU. However, I do want to make the distinction that ā€œgetting a good dealā€ does not eliminate the fact that they constantly shill bid, spam listing, and do everything wrong as a seller. Also, I have said this before, if you changed those stolen gold star dogs into iphones, 4k tvā€™s, or something more mainstream, it would be a litigious situation. Since they are Pokemon cards, and are unregulated and mostly underground, people are more passe. It would be obviously wrong if someone illegally obtained $100,000 worth of electronics; no one would ever consider doing business with them.

How did he obtain the gold star dogs? I know the story, just didnā€™t follow it.

Just to note, Cardhouse is on the blacklisted sellers. You only get on that list if there is repeated proof of illicit activities. Itā€™s not a matter of people being petty or disliking him, itā€™s a matter of some of the bigger names in the community saying ā€œThis person is participating in borderline illegal activities. Stay away for your own good and the good of others.ā€
