Wow that is cool! I am sure they will use a new art to bring in the current generation of players. Either way, it is neat seeing them bring back the tournament.
I guess the even the executives of the TCG are not immune to nostalgia.

Dat Blastoise Trophy…
They gave out all 3 Charizard and Blastoise evolutions at the kamex/lizardon mega battle… I have once seen the Squirtle trophy on ebay and one Charizard trophy was listed on greylight.co.uk some years ago (who was the owner again? I forgot about that).
I think the bronze trophies are really cool and it’s amazing they relaunch the lizardon mega battle… BUT I am 99% sure that we will never see such a Charizard trophy from the 2014 tournament on sale/auction. Simply because the Japanese winners usually tend to keep their winner’s items (including the trophy card)
and yes, Faiarrow is right, they will be giving out the new victory ring trophy cards again (as they did at the Battle Festa in December 2013)
