Collecting Prerelease Cards in Other Languages Assistance

Hello! I unfortunately know very little about language variants and distribution events. I was wondering what countries all had prerelease promos? Any exclusives? I think it’s time to expaaaaand. Any and all information would be very much appreciated, links, tips, stuff like that. I would be looking to collect these raw but idk if that matters. Ideally if i could find a list for each country like the one on bulbapedia that would be super helpful

French German Italian Spanish Portuguese all have pre release promos. Some a lot harder to find than other and some a lot more expensive than other. Nearly all French will be at least double if not triple the cost of Italian or German

Also Europe has a lot of exclusive set stamped cards.

Yes and no swsh pretty much all of them, sm xy don’t have Portuguese or Spanish I believe go to cardmarket find the card and search each language and see what pops up.

Oh man. Well first step for me is going to be compiling a list of promos in chronological order for each country. So, i guess ill have to pick one and start there. Thanks dude! Scary to think about but exciting!

Ive kind of already started down that rabbit hole as well, i already have a binder for non prerelease set stamped promos

Call of legends snorlax in German (I have a copy) and I believe Italian and French but yet to find a copy.

Also im only going to focus on the regular variants. I dont even want to think about the staff cards right now :sob:

Definitely Portuguese and French both are ridiculously expensive compared to other languages. I’m only chasing the snorlax and that been hard enough….

I highly recommend getting a European based middle man it will drastically cut your costs and make the search so much easier…

HGSS had the battle hiroba promos

Can’t find any modern JP pre-release promos, but you can search using the keyword プレリリースプロモ
