Complete 17-102 4th Print Set - Gem Mint value?

Hey wassup people,

So I was sorting through my collection & realised I have a complete 17-102 (Non-Holo) base 4th print set. I remember where I got them but had no clue at the time they were 4th prints!

Ive looked online to find prices but these really are gem mint condition and nothing else I have found can compare.

Potentially look to psa in the future but again have no clue what a grade 9-10 set would be worth to someone?

Any input would help or to even have your view on 4th print cards!

As a set I’m guessing its probably 3 times as much as the normal base set. It’s a cool thing to have but unless you have the holos to go with them they aren’t any different bar the 2000 writing.

As for grading unless they pretty much all guarantee to grade 10s then I don’t think its worth it to be honest. Especially since 1st edition 10s go for $35 min upwards I’m not sure what value you are expecting from these.

I say try and gather all the holos with 2000 then sell as a whole. Maybe 6x as much then.

This is all my opinion.

I actually came across a large collection of MINT Condition (Pack Fresh) 4th Print Base Set Non-Holo Cards. I’ve been listing the 16-Card Rare Set for $100.00 OBO and have been selling them for between $75.00 and $80.00. I’ve been listing the 70-Card Common / Un-Common Set for $37.50 OBO and have been selling them for between $30.00 and $35.00. I’ve debated putting the entire C. / Un. / R. Set on eBay; however, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Personally, I’d list it for: $100.00 + $37.50 = $137.50 ($150.00 OBO - Accepting around $120.00).

Unless you’re talking the Holo Cards / Booster Packs / Booster Boxes - or you happen to come-across a die-hard 4th Print Collector, there’s really not a ton of added value.

I think im going to set it upon myself to complete the holo set also in gem mint ungraded.

Its one of those I know il sell and regret in time so makes sense to set a new goal!
