Complete WOTC English Promo Set - Did I miss anything?

I’m trying to collect all the English Wizards of the Coast promos. I’m confident this is a complete list of English Wizards promos. Message me if I’ve missed any.

Sets:

Variants:

  • Corrected Artist Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos Promos

  • Pokemon Center New York Stamped Rapidash and Ho-Oh

  • Mass produced errors:
    1st Edition Ivy Pikachu
    No 60 HP Persian

  • Box Toppers from LC and E-Series - Should these even be considered promos? They aren’t technically cards. and they’re expensive

I want to put a whole set together. I already own most of these cards so it shouldn’t be too hard. I’m definitely not going for the E-Series boxtoppers.

Anyway, did I miss anything? Oh and let’s not count the Prerelease Raichu.

Are you looking for only released in outside of Japan with English text or all English text cards, just checking as this is a Coro Coro Charizard, base set it was released in Japan but it is a Jumbo of the english card.

I guess English released cards but if we can get a list going of Japanese promos with English text that’d be great

Meowth WoTC Promo 10 This is a Non Holo version of Meowth Black star promo given at JR Rally 2000 event in Japan

There’s the Australian poketour pikachu promo for English release. Not sure where it fits though

There would be alot more Japanese cards if you want to go that route.

The 2010 world collection pikachu wasn’t made by wizards. Also, I thought the LPPCollection stamp promos were done by a 3rd party? Someone correct me if I’m wrong. The rest, except for the gold border meowth seem right.

You are correct with the LPPCollection they are done by a 3rd party, The 2010 World card is a reprint of WotC Promo 24 so i included it just in case you wanted to add it. I added the gold border Meowth just because i wasnt sure so it was there if you wanted to add it.

I am not sure if i have anymore on my database it was just a quick look through it.

Oh yeah, forgot about those. The Sparkled mews were only released in Japan right? The other two are USA/UK? Or I should say rest of the world?

If you really do want all the box toppers then LC has them too.

I’ve updated the first post to reflect the 1999-2000 Mew. The sparkling Ancient Mews are exclusive to Japan I’m excluding them.

I’ll add the LC boxtoppers too. I’ll be excluding the boxtoppers from my personal collection. They’re way too expensive.

Not sure if it counts, but there’s also the Gotta! Promo’s - the glossy french pikachu and promo 8 mew.

I don’t think the gold border machamp counts. It’s technically tan and a printing defect at best.

gold border machamp is a one time printing defect. i think @thecharizardauthorty owns it. So i won’t count it

I’ll make an error section for the 1st ivy pikachu and dark persian along with other errors

I feel like trainer deck a and b cards shouldn’t count. they aren’t promotional cards. they’re just variants of already existing cards.

Non holo LC charizard dark raichu and dark blastoise are theme deck exclusives. not really promos.

I’ll put the inverted stamp errors under the error section.

FPO cards weren’t meant to leave the factory. The were for production purposes. I won’t count them.

Actually this guy explains that 3/4 ancient mews are Japanese released. The only US/International released mew is the 1999-2000 Copy.

I purchased the last of the jumbos I needed last night. I won’t be counting the boxtoppers in my personal collection so I’m pretty much done. I just need to pick up a Persian No Hp error to complete the collection. How about you @gcea
