Now that the like-a-thon is over and ive seen many many old collections made possible by members linking together, Im now wondering what cards do other members have that you wish you could add to your collection? Is it something rare and unique or the last graded copy you need?
(Maybe if you confess your desires and you never know what can happen in the future.)
For me, @Taigataipan has an amazing collection and some of the japanese decks theyve posted in the past are covetous.
@stagecoach has an amazing double printed error that one day I hope I can find a card from the same sheet to add to my deck collection.
And im pretty sure @c0ll3ct0r has a blank filler card with marking indicating a german bodyguard deck.
I love the Special Delivery line of Pokémon promos. It’s everything I’d want in a card. It’s a cool promo tied to an occasion, it’s exclusive to my native language (English), it’s thematically and visually consistent with its companion cards, there’s some cool lore about how Charizard leaked extremely early and nobody knew when it was going to release and then Bidoof launched in the interim, I also love mail and the aesthetic of the postal service.
And yet, every time one of these cards has come out, I have only obtained them via creating multiple accounts and placing multiple orders to get 3 of them each. I always said “one to display, one to store, one to sell” and yet I’d sell all three of them while the prices were hottest. And now I have none to show for them because I could not resist the urge to scalp the cards.
I can only hope to find forgiveness before God, as I know there will be none for me here on Earth. Naturally every time I see people with these cards I plan to break into their houses and steal them, but I’d probably just sell them again because I have no self control.
Sealed items? Graded cards? All from one member? Are they even in your budget or are they cards you watch from afar?
Think of how many less card-sins youll have after you confess!

I am always jealous of all those lovely members who have the insanely expensive cards that I love like the Masked Royal 085/SM-P, Alola Friends, 1st ed Base cards, Gold Stars.
Recently saw all of what @ayoveer has and I now must covet their AMAZING PSA 10 Japanese Team Rocket holo collection. With Team Rocket being my favorite set of all time, and the Dark Charizard being my favorite single card of all time.
But finally, I have been coveting this since I randomly found it online after doing a search to find a picture to post in the Cards You Admire From Afar thread a while back. I will never have this card, and it hurts so much. The last card I need for my Greninja collection. They have it mislabeled in the link, but it is the only 100 copies exist TV Tokyo Lottery 218/XY-P Ash-Greninja EX. For the low, low price of around $42,000 depending on the daily currency conversion rate.
Wow. When you have to covet, you covet hard. Amazing card that I had no idea existed. Masked royal is also a card that would be cool but not as cool as the extra battle day cards, i probably should bite the bullet on chinese version before they go crazier.
I feel like I should confess a more specific covetous sin now that I better understand the direction the thread is going. Let me consult my list of enemies and rivals.
