Hi Everyone! First time post in e4…I’m wondering if anyone has experience cross-grading from BGS to PSA or vice versa. I am interested in a BGS 8.5 with strong sub grads (9.5,9,8.5,8.5). I would be adding it to a set of PSA 8/9s and I would prefer that it matches the ones already in the set. Do I have to crack it out of the case in order to submit to PSA? Could I send with instructions to only grade if the grade will be the same or better as it is currently (know this is very unlikely as they couldn’t grade properly without removing from the case). The card looks like it will receive a PSA 9 in my estimation, and I maybe wouldn’t mind having a PSA 8 over BGS 8.5. Any thoughts/comments are welcome as I’m a relatively new to the hobby and don’t have much experience with grading. Thanks!
You will have to crack it as they have suspended crossgrading
