In early March I send a package to the USA, it got stuck into customs due to the covid measurements. Last week (more like 10 days ago) the status got updated that it got processed and on route for delivery but no update ever since.
Is the USPS handling packages again or is my status update really only that the package been moved from the US Customs to a USPS sorting plant and it’s not stuck in there?
I would like to know how are things now, as well. I’ve finally gotten all except one of my US packages. Ironically, a trade that I made is stuck on both sides - mine from Finland to her and hers from the US to me.
The one she sent to me has latest update from 12 of May saying processed through regional facility in Chicago distribution center. And meanwhile the letter I sent to her has no updates since leaving Finland on 11th of May. Both stuck and sent on a similar time frame. Good thing is we are both in the same situation but I would like to know what is going on with our packages. I know that covid is causing delays but on tracked packages I would appreciate at least a scan from time to time even if it doesn’t move forward. Just to have some kind of an idea where it is. Ngl I already had the thought of what if our packages got burned lol

Customs is definitely running received a notice that a parcel will be delivered to me in Canada from the US $100 value $28 customs owed…

Ive been speaking to a seller (and made some raw card purchases) in Japan who said his most recent package to the US using japan post took only 12 days when his previous ones took at LEAST a month. My order was shipped from him on the 15th and reached ISC Chicago on the 19th but hasnt budged since. Can update when it actually moves
I just checked, but both incoming packages that have tracking and were send from the US with USPS are still in the same status. Bought them on April 1st and April 4th respectively. The one from April 1st stopped updating after April 6th and the one from April 4th stopped updating after May 5th, both with the exact same status: “Your item was processed through our CHICAGO IL INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER facility. The item is currently in transit to the destination.”
Although I did receive a package from the US last week which was incoming for 2.5 months at that point, so they might update soon after all. It’s so annoying to not know whether a package is just slow or lost tbh… 
Packages I’ve send to the US myself the past few months all arrived without a problem, although none was send with USPS.
