So I received a submission back from PSA and I was honestly baffled when I saw that a Charizard Arceus Cracked Ice got a 9. The front of the card is imo PSA9 worthy but the back and the whitening in the corners?! is that normal for PSA to grade such cards with 9’s?

The pictures you have given are low resolution and as such I can’t see anything wrong with that card being designated a 9.
A Mint 9 is not a flawless card.

Looks more like a PSA 8 from what I see, but I’ve also seen worse 9s before.
Yea it looks pretty good from my understanding of a 9.
My PSA 9 Dragonair First Edition has similar whitening if that helps.
I had a psa 9 yugioh card come back with bunch of finger prints, and psa said they gonna take care of it. Idk how though lol
Should be a 9 if that’s all that’s wrong. Without that it should be a 10.

From the pics provided it is definitely fitting to be a PSA 9
