I’m a WOTC collector at heart, but the new set coming out in August looks nice. First Charizard for SWSH series and first VMAX Charizard.
Personally, I’m excited for the set and was wondering if anyone else felt the same way too!

Super excited. Has a Charizard and a playable chase V in Crobat in the set! As a store owner, we’re picking up a minimum 1000 boxes at release to open/sell. In a year of good products, this could very well be the best.

massive booster box openings coming. it’s gonna be great for the LGS to help bring back some profit. i’m all for it. i’ll try to order from local stores rather than online maybe.

I think this is one where I’ll buy 2 boxes 1 to open and 1 to put in my closet for a decade or two.

Looks promising but I’ll wait until I see packs being opened to see what the pull rates are. If the VMAX zard is hard to pull then it could be a good set overall. In SW&SH and rebel clash the VMAX cards are rather easy to pull from what I’ve seen.
I just wish pokemon company would do something for collectors. Put some signed cards in there with odds of pulling like 1/100,000 packs or something like that. Maybe throw some custom cards in there where you pull the card then mail it in to get some unique card that has only 100 made. Make it exciting.

Likewise I’m a WOTC collector but pick up some of the odd modern sets if there’s enough nice cards in them (or a zard) such as hidden fates and cosmic eclipse. Those pokemon + trainer cards in cosmic are stunning.
So yes I will probably be opening a booster box of darkness blaze. My last box was Cosmic last year so I’m pretty excited to open some packs again.

Picking up my first box since unbroken bonds. Super stoked.
Darkness ablaze could still be a bust if the Charizard is easy to get. Hopefully it is hard to pull like the hidden fates or burning shadows zards.
More looking forward to the other cards than the charizard, gotta get me some salamence and scizor (the vmax charizard isn’t as cool as the megas to me, bring them back please 
). I think the rr charizard vmax will be sufficiently hard to pull, judging from what comments on sw/sh and rebel clash pull rates are. Let’s see though!

I doubt the VMAXs will be any harder to pull than those in the first two Sword & Shield sets. These cards are meant for the TCG players.
