So I know for a fact there is a complete evolution line of national championship cards for blastoise and charizard and I know that a national championship venusaur exists but I have never seen the bublasaur and ivysaur cards.
Do they even exist?
As you can see on Bulbapedia, there is just a “prerelease” Ivysaur. Not a single Bulbasaur promo.
Also, a few years before there was also a prerelease Wartortle.

It appears that those two cards don’t exist unfortunately. Does anyone know why? Pretty disappointing lol.
The Bulbasaur line would often get the shaft in the earlier years of Pokemon. Just look at the Bulbasaur McDonalds promo being a non-holo. (Not counting the very beginning of Pokemon when Bulbasaur was made Pokemon #1 and Venusaur was an original coverboy over Blastoise to go along with Charizard).
But I’d say for the last decade+ the Bulbasaur line has been treated pretty much the same way the Squirtle line has been treated.

They did the Bulbasaur line a favour with the 2003 Best of Game promos. Dark Ivysaur and Dark Venusaur received Winner-stamped prints. There aren’t Squirtle or Charizard equivalents as far as I know.
