You know they almost certainly have an internal record of which grader graded each cert. I’d be surprised if they didn’t. But imagine being the guy who graded this, then the people who did the qa checks

It’s funny you say that as that crossed my mind earlier. They must know who’s doing what or at least you would hope that was the case.
Especially with their financial “guarantee”. It would be irresponsible to not keep track of who may or may not be making errors that you have to pay out on and costing you money.

At this point it’s clear that there are many grading companies that have better grading standards than PSA (I can think of two in Germany alone). The only advantage PSA has is its popularity. It’s basically the international standard and used as reference. That’s why many cards that are graded a 10 at a stricter grading company still sell for less than a PSA 10. People know what to expect from a PSA10. They don’t know what to expect from a graded 10 of your local grading company, no matter how good/strict they are.
Maybe things would change if someone were to make an international grading company database that tries to provide an objective rating for each company in certain aspects. Grade the grader, so to say. I don’t think a grading auditor administration exists yet…
