Does the Pokémon Center ever restock plushies?

I have been wanting to buy an original Pumpkaboo plush for a while, but I’m not looking to spend $70+ on eBay if I don’t have to. Does TPCi restock plushies years after release? Or did I miss out and my only option is the second-hand market now?

Years after release? Unlikely. I’ve seen it happen once (they rereleased the shiny Rayquaza on the US store) but for the most part it doesn’t. Especially on the Japanese site. Basically, if you see something you want you better buy it right away because otherwise your only option is resale.

Typically not years after release. Something like the sitting cuties series is pretty fluid. They have restocked that many times over the past years, with maybe a few months of unavailability. But typically if an item has been out of stocks for years, its usually done for good.

Ok, thanks @Versy and @smpratte . I knew the plush had to be at least 2 years old, just did a quick search and it came out in 2014. No wonder it’s $70 :sweat_smile:
