Does this card have a shot at a PSA 10? (Shadowless Chansey)

I think this card looks fantastic and is an easy 9(or bgs 9.5), no holo scratches or print lines, but my question is, does this even have a shot at a PSA 10? I’m not the greatest when it comes to figuring out centering with pixel counting or other methods. Can anyone that’s good at figuring out centering help me determine the front/back centering and whether or not it’s in the 60/40 front, 75/25 back parameters

I’d say it has a shot at a 10. Centering is a little bit off on left and right sides but nothing out of the ordinary on 10s

@lordsnore the top/bottom front centering concerns me. Looks like the top border is half the size of the bottom

Just send it in on an express level if you’re confident in it’s condition. No holo scratching of any kind is hard to believe but if that’s true you have a good shot at a 10. Yeah, centering is a hair off but no big deal. If you paid less than $300 to get it you shouldn’t lose money even if it gets a 9. If it gets a 10 I’ll start the bidding at $1500.

Edit: if you’re too scared I’ll buy it raw and send it in. :slight_smile:

Besides centering are there any other tiny flaws?

@zap2, It definitely is hard to believe but I bought it off a close friend so I was able to inspect it in person before I gave him the monies :blush:

Would you recommend sending it with other cards or just by itself?

Also I’ll definitely let you know if it does get that elusive 10 :wink:

Corners/edges are about as perfect as it can get for shadowless, holo is clean(no print lines/scratches)

only defects are centering, and if you look at the backside, there is like a tiny corner dot in the bottom left corner but it’s harder to catch than most print dots I’ve seen

Statistically the average Shadowless Chansey card has two times the chance of grading a PSA 10 as the Red and Blue player has at running into a Chansey at the Safari Zone.
It’s worth grading either way unless you’re a pessimistic poke person who places pet peeves in prime position on his plate and anxiously awaits a certain day or date when Pokemon’s hidden fate spontaneously creates all collector’s elate because high supply is hate but low prices are great and it happens on the date when shiny pieces of bait rest comfortably on the slate and no pieces are ate. Maybe don’t wait. Grade her quick, okay? I’ll still pay despite the heavy dismay.

Thanks for the responses! I’ll definitely let you all know what the outcome is. I’ll most likely do a 10 card submission with Chansey included with Ludkins pretty soon :blush:
