I’ve recently sold two base set sealed booster packs to a buyer through eBay. The buyer purchased these two days apart but today has opened a case stating they were not sealed and had been opened.
Why would a buyer not open the first purchase to check everything was okay before purchasing again?
To me it’s a case of they didn’t pull a holo so want to get there money back.
Now I know they were sealed when I sent them, eBay will not give me the option to decline the return as it’s an item not as described case.
Sorry that your being scammed, it’s a really unfortunate situation and eBay usually sides with the buyers. One thing you’ll definitely want to do is record opening the return package with no stopping, so at least you have documentation.
The problem is he’s already saying they were opened, so I’m not sure how much that will help in the long run. I would definitely try and fight it, but odds are they will force a return.
Unfortunately as a seller on eBay we’re just waiting to get fkd in the…
And ‘seller protection’ is a joke and nothing but meaningless words. Unfortunately there is no way sellers can discern who we can sell to and PayPal is hot garbage that needs to be burnt to the ground like hot cinders of ancient Rome.
If you only sell once in a blue moon and don’t want to lose the cash I would tell PayPal to shove it up their arse and make sure your bank cancels any direct debits you may have setup.
BTW what is the lowlife jizzstained turd pipes ebay id please?
Like previous replies mentioned, unfortunately, there’s not much you can do at this point. But for future sales, you should at least take the following two steps:
Block this scammer so that you never deal with this buyer again
Sorry I didn’t see your reply, It would be great if some of the more influential guys could get this lowlife blacklisted by all hobbyists and dealers so that he can’t buy or sell anything in future.I would def file a report report for fraud with the police and give them his info.
