I’ve been collecting Pokemon cards since 1999, and seriously collecting them since 2009. Today, I made my biggest investment ever. So I’m welcoming this guy to the family.

The card is not technically in my hands yet, but it’s bought and paid for, and soon will find a comfy spot in which it will sit and die in my collection. I will never sell this card, so that’s 1 out of the 6 that is off of the market forever.

He will be side-by-side with the other juggernaut of my collection.

I’ve owned this guy since 2009. He’s a Thick Stamp (what I like to think of as the first 1st edition cards), so there are approximately 25 of these in the world right now. Certainly not as rare as the trophy Khan, but it’s the most iconic card in the hobby - and he’s mine!

These two shall be the twin pillars of my collection, and I don’t think I could ask for much more.

Along with these two guys, I’m building up a collection of other cards as well, and I’ll share them in time.

By the way, you may notice that the case on the Khan has some scratches. RayquazaTCG sent the card to PSA to be re-holdered, so it may be a few more weeks before it’s actually in my hands. I’ll be sure to do a nice photoshoot for it when it actually gets here.

Also decided I’m finally going to get my Zard re-holdered, which I’ve been intending to do ever since I first got the card in 2009.

Who are these monsters that allow their PSA cases to get scratched?! The case should be treated just as well as the card itself!!!

Unfortunatly from my own personal experience, a lot of my cases that have scratches got them during transit from PSA to myself -____-

Since they stack the cases, and add a little bubble wrap, doesn’t do much for sliding around and what not.
