I have heard that most ex series sets have a pull rate of about 1:36 packs for ex and 1:72 for gold stars, but power keepers has higher pull rates right? Can anyone shed some light on what the pull rates are?
There might be 1 or two sets that had that 1:36 pull rate. However, I believe it’s at least 1:12 for exs. It varied from set to set, but you got 3 to 7 exs in most boxes.
Gold Stars are 1 in 72. People keep saying 1 in 2 or 3 boxes.

I dont think any sets have 1:36 pull rate for exs. From my experience its 3-5 a box

The sets with 3 ex cards (Holon Phantoms, Delta Species) had a pull rate of one per box. The earlier e-series sets and Power Keepers you could get 5-7 ex per box, but once you got into Hidden Legends and beyond it was about 2-3 ex per box. Maybe on some rare occasions you can get more but I’ve never seen a gold-star era ex box (outside of Power Keepers) have 5 ex.

I was certain one set had a very low rate. It makes me wonder why this set had the fewest ex’s.
I’d say 3-4 seemed like my average for all the boxes and packs I opened up. I can’t recall getting over 5 on any openings. I’ve seen videos on youtube but I wonder if there were some issues between various print runs.
