Ex Ruby & Sapphire Spanish packs - what’s the deal?

Hi guys and girls
Iv notices alot Spanish versions of ex ruby and sapphire packs circulating on eBay whilst the English counterparts are much harder to come by. Is there some sort of back story to why there are so many Spanish versions currently for sale?

lol scalpers in my local store were bragging to the manager (who didnt give af) “yo I found the best deal on this box of Portuguese RS packs recently, yal need to get on my level” (as he haggled the price of a NM LP full art wifu trainer with the very tired looking manager)

I was overhearing it and was thinking does he think were all gonna learn Portuguese or something? If people just cared about art then Japanese cards would be massively bigger than they are

Spanish Ruby Sapphire packs are incredibly common. Not sure why, but there are cases and cases and cases and cases of this stuff left. I wouldn’t touch them with a 10-foot pole. English Ruby Sapphire sealed product is wayyyyyy rarer. No one wants Spanish Ruby Sapphire lol, it’s like Chinese Legend Maker.

Yeah we chatted about this. I kind of want to open them for fun cause where else can you get vintage EX era for under $15 haha

I think we spoke about Chinese Legend Maker, but yeah. Hey, if it scratches the itch to open vintage product, then go for it! I was just putting out the disclaimer that Spanish RS is extraordinarily abundant and not worth buying if you’re trying to get good “value.”
