Hey guys I’m wondering if anyone here has some experiences with ludkins grading services? Reason I ask is cause I’m thinking of going with them due to PSAs RIDICULOUS update on DOUBLING their turn around times and keeping the SAME FEE! Basically I have 30 cards to submit all under regular order which is $20 a piece and now 30 day turnaround. Comes out to $600… With lud at $9.25 a piece comes out to $277 so less than half! but ETA is looking around maybe 60 day? But anyway chime in if you guys have dealt with them and what was your turnaround time eta? Thanks guys!
I use Ludkins, albeit for their UK service. I can’t fault them really and have built a solid relationship with Barney and Matty over the years, they’re really professional and friendly. The timescales you should expect would be average, with the addition of a little extra time for them to handle the cards between yourself and PSA. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them.

I use Ludkins USA. They have pretty reasonable rates, and keep me up to date on everything from when I submit until the grades are received and I get my cards back. The timescale is no different if you submit or they do, but they definitely keep the cards safe and it is a lot less stress on yourself to have them do all the tedious paperwork for you. You pay for their service, but it is worth it.

Ironically enough I am watching this video at the same time I am reading your question. The Pokemon Evolutionaries does their PSA grading through Ludkins Collectibles and he says that 30 day submissions will now be 50 days, check out the first 2 mins of this video.
I just submitted my first batch of cards through Ludkins. So far the experience has been top notch. Charlie (who is a moderator here on E4) is very quick and clear with communications.
I’d also add that the pre-check was quite helpful for me. Charlie was able to identify a few cards I had submitted that had additional flaws I did not see. I pulled them from the submission and this saved me from wasting money on submitting sub-standard cards. When I get those cards back I will also review them and learn from what I missed.

Ludkins USA - yes. Quick responses and regular emails sent out to keep you updated.
Ludkins UK - wish I could say the same regarding communication. They seem to be struggling with the increased volume of orders. Personally, I’ve had to chase them up to be kept informed of my orders. I’m sure this will sort itself out eventually. It’s testament to their service that they’ve grown so rapidly.
Having said that, they’ve been nothing short of professional. Barney often goes the extra mile, and even accepts my orders from here in a China by purchasing shipping labels from my eBay. Fantastic.

I’ve only send cards to PSA (though Ludkins) twice so far. I live in The Netherlands (Europe), so I’ve used their UK based facility. My second order is currently at PSA, and it will probably take a few more weeks months before they are graded and back. The first time everything went without any problems whatsoever. They explained everything clearly and answered any questions I had about my first time grading. They kept me informed every step of the way and the service and quality was perfect. (And both my cards came back as a PSA-10. 
)
Can’t say anything about Ludkins in the US, but I think Charlie (@funmonkey54) is someone who’s associated with Ludkins USA, so maybe he can fill in any blanks and questions you have?
